My mom stayed at Sherwood Oaks Post Acute for a few months and was eventually discharged in much better condition. Unfortunately, after some time she became weak again, developed pneumonia, and passed away a few weeks ago. I will always be incredibly thankful to everyone at Sherwood Oaks for the care they gave my mom. From the nursing staff to the rehab department, everyone was kind, caring, and supportive. They didn’t just take care of her as a patient—they treated her like family. I especially want to recognize her nurse, Jessa. My mom would always mention Jessa to me and tell me how well she took care of her, especially with her medications, and how she would go above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and cared for. It meant so much to know that my mom had someone looking after her with that kind of compassion. Before my mom passed away, she told me to make sure I thanked Sherwood Oaks and all of her nurses for everything they had done for her. I am honoring her wish by writing this review. Thank you, Sherwood Oaks, for taking such good care of my mom during the time she was with you. Our family will always be grateful. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with kindness, dignity, and compassion.

Our mother of 88 years of age was transferred from Los Robles Hospital to sherwood oaks rehabilitation center From the start being picked up by a wonderful gentleman that took great care of her swiftly getting her delivered and comfortable in her bed immediately the head nurse another gentleman took charge of her daily medications , the room nurse made sure she was comfortable got her water snd extra pillows as she would use at home Im now home after leaving her in great hands i will be returning bright and early thanks to the staff at Sherwood oaks Sincerely Peter Suescun 🙏❤️

Staff very personable. Treat patients with respect. Only draw back is excessive noise

Everyone who works here knows that the families of patients are currently going through a pretty bad experience. All employees are kind, friendly, and understanding. This helps immensely.

All of the staff from the receptionist through to the director of social services are easy to work with.And very caring people.

We appreciate everyone at Sherwood Post Acute – their timely service and kindness will not be forgotten.

Horrible place!!! Food is inedible, they don’t bring your meds on time, nobody answers the phone, elevators were broken, and it took them ages to get them fixed, which was dire as most patients couldn’t walk. TVs blaring, people yelling, staff hanging around eating pizza, with attitudes. Loved one had his expensive razor stolen. DO NOT TRUST THE SHINY BROCHURES OR THE BOGUS POSITIVE REVIEWS!!

The check in as a visitor was very welcoming and helpful. The facility is bright, cheerful, immaculate, and filled with friendly staff. We were very happy to see our loved one in such caring hands.

Sherwood Oaks Post Acute is a positive place for people, who are rehabbing, following Surgery or an illness. The Nurses, CNA’s, Staff are very nice, helpful, caring. Listening to the needs of the patients and their families. As far as the food, it is something less desirable, unlike most hospitals, where you can choose want you want, unfortunately that is not case with most rehabilitation or skilled nursing facilities. They do a few meal options. My Mom was transferred there, from the hospital after a few days, following Ankle Replacement Surgery.

I had not heard of this place until a friend went there. The facility is clean, the staff are nice & my friend says the food is good. I gave 4 stars because of the lack of parking. This probaby varies by the time of day and day of the week.

Usually good care though sometimes they were supposed to stay and feed my mom but would just leave the food for her.

This place is awesome!! My dad just recently was there for 6 weeks post op and rehabilitation for his partial hip replacement! Awesome staff throughout! PT and OT were awesome. He went in few days after his surgery in a wheelchair and came out walking with his walker better than he did before. This was his 2nd hip replacement in less than a year. He did more rehab here in 6 weeks than he did in another facility in Colorado that he was at for 12 weeks for his other hip. From CNA’s to Nursing, Social Services, Front desk help, Dr’s so good. We’re very professional and caring. I was actually sad to have to say good bye to the staff. But very excited to get my dad back home!!!

My mother has been in this facility for 2 years. Recently, she has been sick with the common flu/cold that’s going around for the last 3 days, they haven’t given her any medication (not even over-the-counter medication). She called me to ask me to bring her medication and cough drops because she is constantly coughing. The so-called nurses sit and chat while she is sitting in her urine, so she calls me asking me to call the nursing station to ask them to attend to her. The staff are rude and condescending and neglect the elderly. They have NO conscious, compassion, or dignity; they are so numb in this environment that I don’t think they are even human. The food is disgusting, so I have to bring food and snacks for my mother every other day. She basically eats the decent food I bring for her every other day; otherwise, she refuses to eat the food there. One patient in the room was calling for help, but the staff ignored him, so he asked me to help. If you love your parents, stay away from this place. Go see for yourself before you take one of your loved ones to this facility. If there was an option for NO star, I would have choose that option. I believe the 5-star reviews are fake.

Great memories from Sherwood oaks facility. Danica, Shelby,Dorothy, Kelly Polly, Elizabeth, Carla, Julio, Carlos, Anthony, Holman, Theodor, Delia, Cynthia did great job while taking care of me but nobody like Liliana (mama Lili), she was unbelievably good and ready every moment to help me even when she is not assigned to me as a CNA.Thank you much in never gonna forget you. Sorry if I forget to maantion more people, but I recommend this place to anybody.

Caring, hard working people— only issue is food is marginal— not horrible but could be better

I would like to take this time to acknowledge the excellent care my father has received while being at Sherwood Oaks Post Acute Care Center. I want to especially thank Dr Kumar, RN’s, CNA’s and staff who have maintained his daily care. We are very grateful.

Sherwood Oaks Post Acute Care facility has taken EXCELLENT care of my dear friend Annie. Her overall condition continues to improve. The staff is so kind, helpful, and supportive.
